BioThere's not much to say about my life so far.
I was born in Long Island, NY, as the midlife surprise/crisis of my parents. We lived there for eight years after I was born, and then moved to Virginia Beach, VA, which I wasn't happy about. I spent about half the time I lived there alone, until I got to high school and started to really come out of my shell. I made some great friends, had some great experiences, and when I graduated from high school, my parents retired to Florida and I went off to school in Texas.
A few random things about myself: I'm a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and I've been studying that martial art for almost eight years now. Unfortunately, when I left VA Beach, I left behind my school as well, so I'm out of it now.
I took my first trip studying abroad when I was 17 with the college I now attend. I spent three weeks in Italy, mostly Rome, earned 3 college credits and went into college with a 4.000 GPA from the start.
I recently decided, after being a part of the senior studio productions at school, that I wanted to major in Drama, as well as my original major, English. What am I going to do with those two degrees? Well, I could see myself teaching either subject at the high school or college level, or pursuing any number of other careers from acting to directing, working as a journalist to editing. My real dream profession, though, is to be a full-time writer.
